Foothills Butcher's Choice Box is a monthly subscription that gives you a fresh box of local, pasture-raised meats every week. A mix of fresh raw beef, pork and chicken are provided to you by our expert butcher team. Simply order online, set up your automatic subscription, and pick up your box at your favorite butcher bar on your pick-up day.
Each box contains "meat cheat sheets" to help you learn more about the local meats and cuts included in your weekly share. Recipes published on our blog will inspire your kitchen adventures.

HOW IT WORKS
Your meat for the month, ready for you fresh each week. 100% local grass-fed beef, free range chicken, and heritage breed pork.
1. Select Your Plan
Choose from a monthly or quarterly subscription. Each plan includes a weekly pickup (monthly pick up can be custom arranged, if necessary).
2. Select Your Pick-Up Location
Select your pick up location during checkout: West Asheville or Black Mountain.
3. Pick Up Your First Box
You'll receive an email when your box is ready. Pick up, sort your box, and freeze anything you'd like to keep for a while (it's freezer-ready when you pick it up!) You're ready to cook.
Once you've joined:
You'll be billed once per month or quarter via automatic payment.
You can cancel, pause, or change your subscription for the following month before the 15th of the current month.
We send out an email each pickup week to notify you. Fresh recipes will be on our blog each week to inspire you!
Month-to-Month Billing = $192 / Month
Receive your Butcher's Choice curated box (including a variety of beef, pork and chicken) each week for 4 weeks.
Month = 4 boxes, 1 per week for 4 weeks
Quarterly Billing = $576 / quarter
BONUS Butcher Box: As a thank you for signing up for quarterly billing, you'll receive a "bonus" small Butcher's Choice Box (enough for 2 people) that is a great gift for a friend or family member, or if you're hosting guests!
Quarter = 12 boxes, 1 per week for 12 weeks

What do you mean by "Butcher's Choice?"
Your Butcher's Choice Box is similar to a veggie or fruit CSA share...what is available is what you'll receive. Your Butcher's Choice Box is driven by "butcher's choice," meaning our team makes the best decision on what cuts of beef, pork and chicken will be included.
How much does it cost?
Your Butcher's Choice Box is $48/week for 4 weeks. You are billed by the month at $192/month, OR select quarterly billing and receive a smaller, additional Butcher's Choice Box for you or a friend for free ($30 value)!
WHERE CAN I PICK UP MY BUTCHER'S CHOICE BOX?
You will select your desired pick-up location (Butcher Bar: West Asheville or Butcher Bar: Black Mountain) during online checkout. Once your Butcher's Choice Box is ready for pick-up, you can pick it up at your chosen location.
WHEN DO I PICK UP MY BUTCHER'S CHOICE RAW BOX?
You pick it up each week. Your Butcher's Choice Box will be ready within 2-3 days after you place your first order. You will receive an email notification when it's ready for pickup. It will be ready on the same day each week after that first order.
When will I be billed each month?
Your monthly subscription begins the day you place your order and happens on the same day of each month after. Quarterly billing happens every 12 weeks.
Can I switch out an item in this box?
We do not accommodate special requests unless they are related to food allergies (and if that's the case, you MUST email firstname.lastname@example.org so we can make a note in your Butcher's Choice Box subscription).

What is your Refund/Return Policy?
We cannot accept returned food items due to health code policy and will not refund returned items. If something is wrong with your Butcher's Choice Box, please call or email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be happy to resolve your issue!
You cannot return or receive a refund for one of your box pick-ups in a given month. It's a full month commitment and as it's pre-paid, your box can't be returned or canceled until the next month.
